Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site IT support at CVS Pharmacy locations. You will travel between stores to service POS and pharmacy systems, perform maintenance, install new tech, and resolve complex issues to minimize downtime.

You will document activities, collaborate with IT teams, and assist with parts inventory while delivering strong customer service to store staff. This is a full-time role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years hands-on troubleshooting hardware, repairs and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Willingness to travel frequently between CVS Pharmacy locations (Lancaster/Reading PA).
• Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and occasionally work on ladders.
• Preferred: technical certifications; Associate’s or technical degree; prior field service experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel between CVS Pharmacy locations to provide on-site technical support and maintenance.
• Deliver hands-on support for store systems including POS, pharmacy, photo kiosks and inventory systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, software updates, hardware upgrades and equipment replacements.
• Install and configure new technology in stores, including POS terminals and network connectivity.
• Diagnose and resolve complex on-site issues and determine root causes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve issues as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to store colleagues while troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Manage inventory of IT parts and supplies; track stock and place orders as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent service needs.
