Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support across CVS Pharmacy locations in Reading, PA. You will troubleshoot POS, pharmacy systems, and store technology, performing preventative maintenance and hardware upgrades to minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with remote IT teams, maintain service records, and contribute to a high-quality in-store customer experience while traveling regularly and handling on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, repairs, and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Willingness to travel frequently between CVS Pharmacy locations within Reading, PA (reside in service area).
• Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and occasionally work on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Travel between CVS Pharmacy locations to provide on-site technical support.
• Support POS, pharmacy systems, photo kiosks, and inventory management systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, software updates, hardware upgrades, and replacements.
• Install and configure POS terminals, peripherals, and network connectivity.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on-site and identify root causes.
• Maintain documentation of service calls, installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to elevate and resolve issues.
• Provide excellent customer service to store colleagues while troubleshooting equipment.
• Manage inventory of IT parts and tools and track stock.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent service needs.
