Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Field Service Technician to support complex security equipment installations nationwide and internationally. You will install, modify, and repair systems, conduct on-site testing, and coordinate repair activities to meet SLAs in a 24/7 customer environment.

Responsibilities include updating work orders in CRM systems (Salesforce, Maximo, GURU), traveling to customer sites on short notice, and ensuring safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Excellent communications skills with a strong orientation toward customer focus and teamwork; must be responsive to customer issues.
• Willing & able to travel on short notice and pass an in-depth background check (TSA eQIP).
• Related Trade experience (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or Military Training; equivalence via 2 years of field service experience.

Responsibilities

• Performing customer support activities involving installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Conducting on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order.
• Isolating start-up malfunctions and taking corrective action.
• Following established guidelines, procedures and policies; work in semi-routine assignments.
