Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Field Service Technician to support Security Enterprise Solutions operations in Dayton. You will install, modify, and repair complex equipment at customer sites across the US and abroad.

You must have 2 years of hands-on troubleshooting, strong communication, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. Willingness to travel and pass TSA background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic systems.
• Excellent communication and strong customer-service orientation.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.
• Must pass TSA eQIP background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer support activities involving installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Conduct on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order.
• Isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Follow guidelines and procedures; work on semi-routine assignments.
• Manage resources, schedules, and coordinate repair activities to meet SLAs.
• Work in a 24/7 customer environment and travel as required.
• Accept and update work orders in CRM systems such as Salesforce, Maximo, and GURU.
