Job summary

MasTec Renewables, including Wanzek Construction and partners, seeks Field Engineers to inspect and monitor large-scale wind and solar projects nationwide. Expect travel up to 100%, 8-12 months per project, per diem, and potential home rotations.

Establish QA/QC records and coordinate with Field Quality Manager for non-conformances. Positions range from Field Engineer I to III with compensation from $65,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related degree preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in related construction field.
• Must be capable of completing and passing SWPPP inspector program and have working knowledge of SWPPP project management.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect and ensure the quality of work during construction on wind/solar projects; monitor various components and ensure conformance with design documents.
• Review tests and inspection reports and communicate issues to Field Quality Manager.
