Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Field Engineer to inspect wind and solar construction sites across the United States. You will travel extensively, monitor work against blueprints, and document QA/QC findings to support project success.

You’ll collaborate with project teams, ensure safety, and develop manuals while gaining hands-on experience in a growing renewable energy portfolio. This role includes travel, per diem, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in construction or related field and experience in construction.
• Must be able to complete SWPPP inspector program and manage SWPPP plan.
• Strong math, blueprint reading, and documentation skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and field reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect and ensure quality on wind and solar projects.
• Verify construction aligns with design documents and permits.
• Prepare Daily Reports and QA/QC documentation.
• Collaborate with site management to ensure QA/QC compliance.
