Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking Field Engineer professionals to inspect and monitor construction activities on large-scale wind and solar projects across the United States. You will review tests, ensure QA/QC compliance, and document daily activities, coordinating with the Field Quality Manager and site teams.

This traveling position requires flexibility, with 8–12 months per project, per diem, and a monthly vehicle allowance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in related construction field (Field Engineer I).
• Must pass SWPPP inspector program and have SWPPP knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and analyze technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect quality of work across wind/solar projects.
• Review tests and inspection reports to verify completion.
• Ensure materials meet submittals and job specs.
• Maintain QA/QC data and daily reports.
• Coordinate with Field Quality Manager and site teams.
