Job summary

MasTec Renewables, a MasTec company, seeks a traveling Inspector to monitor wind and solar construction, ensuring quality per plans and codes. You will report significant issues, document actions, and coordinate with Field Quality Managers across projects nationwide.

The role requires up to 100% US travel, 8–12 months per project, per diem, and monthly vehicle and phone allowances. Prior SWPPP knowledge and QA/QC focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor's in CM, civil or mechanical engineering preferred.
• High school diploma with 2+ years in construction.
• Must pass SWPPP inspector program and have SWPPP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect daily construction activities for quality against plans.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements and SOPs.
• Prepare Daily Reports with quantities and resources.
• Coordinate with Field Quality Manager and site management.
