Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking Field Engineers to monitor and inspect construction activities across nationwide renewable energy projects. This traveling role requires monitoring QA/QC, ensuring conformance with design documents, and maintaining thorough documentation for wind and solar installations.

Positions vary by Field Engineer level with compensation ranges ($65k–$90k) commensurate with experience. Per diem, vehicle allowance, and rotation travel are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree or equivalent construction field experience.
• For Field Engineer I: 2+ years in related construction field; II/III require more.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and follow QA/QC procedures.
• Familiarity with SWPPP or site safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect and ensure the quality of work on wind/solar projects.
• Determine that construction work adheres to design documents.
• Review tests and inspection reports and communicate failures to the Field Quality Manager.
• Ensure materials meet approved submittals and job-site data.
• Maintain organized QA data and prepare Daily Reports.
