Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a candidate to join a 12-week program working alongside Field Engineers on wind and solar projects. You will inspect, document QA/QC data, and assist in coordinating field activities across multiple sites. Travel to JOB sites throughout the US with daily per diem is required.

The role emphasizes safety, timely reporting, and accurate record-keeping while supporting the engineering team and subcontractor coordination.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field.
• Familiar with blueprints and technical procedures.
• Able to write daily project activity reports and document QA/QC activities.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with inspection quality of work on wind and solar projects.
• Record QA/QC data accurately and maintain organized records.
• Coordinate with field engineers and foremen to ensure conformance.
• Compile information for operations and maintenance manuals.
• Establish punch lists and monitor progress.
• Determine calibration status of measuring and test equipment.
• Interface cross-functionally with Field Engineers and other team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
