Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a field inspection support for a 12-week program across the United States. You will work alongside Field Engineers, perform inspections of wind and solar projects, and generate QA/QC reports under supervision.

Daily per diem is provided and accommodations may be offered as part of the travel schedule. The role requires current enrollment in a construction or engineering BS program, strong organizational skills, and the ability to record data accurately.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; able to read blueprints and interpret technical procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection quality of work on wind, solar projects and other renewables.
• Document QA/QC data accurately and compile reports.
• Coordinate with field engineers and foremen to ensure compliance with QA/QC.
• Support calibration checks of measuring and test equipment and maintain records.
• Contribute to development of operations and maintenance manuals.
