Job summary

DEPCOM Power, an energy solutions provider under the Koch umbrella, seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead field crews on utility-scale solar and BESS projects nationwide. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while optimizing workflow and profitability.

You will travel to project sites nationwide for 4–8 week rotations, with home periods between assignments, and you will mentor field personnel to foster technical growth and leadership capability.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background with experience in power systems and renewable energy.
• Knowledge of NEC and its field applications.
• Experience leading self-perform crews, craft labor, or subcontractors.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, construction documents, and technical specs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications for planning and reporting.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage self-perform field crews in the repair, restoration, and maintenance of utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects while applying Principle Based Management (PBM).
• Develop and improve processes that drive consistency, increase productivity, and maximize project profitability.
• Ensure all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with DEPCOM's quality standards, customer requirements, and operating procedures.
• Foster knowledge sharing, challenge assumptions, and promote clear ownership of responsibilities and decision rights to improve team effectiveness.
• Drive successful project execution by ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality expectations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and risks while maintaining proactive communication with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Maintain a forward-looking execution plan through effective resource planning and management of a rolling three-week lookahead schedule.
• Provide accurate daily reporting, track project progress, and support customer interactions as needed to ensure project success.
• Mentor and develop field personnel by promoting technical growth, leadership capability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
