Job summary

DEPCOM Power seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead and manage field crews on utility-scale solar and BESS projects nationwide. This hands-on role ensures NEC compliance, safety standards, and project requirements while troubleshooting challenges and maintaining efficient workflow across fast-paced sites nationwide.

This role is field-based with 4–8 week assignments and a home base between rotations, requiring strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to keep projects on time and

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background with experience in power systems and renewable energy.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its field application.
• Experience leading self-perform crews, craft labor, or subcontractors in construction or field service.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage self-perform field crews in repair, restoration, and maintenance of utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Develop and improve processes to increase productivity and profitability.
• Ensure work is executed safely and in accordance with quality standards and procedures.
• Foster knowledge sharing and clear ownership of responsibilities.
• Drive project execution by keeping work on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and communications with customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain a three-week rolling lookahead and proactive resource planning.
• Provide accurate daily reporting and support customer interactions as needed.
