Job summary

DEPCOM Power is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead and manage self-perform field crews on utility-scale solar and BESS projects across nationwide sites. The role requires ensuring NEC compliance, safety, and project requirements while maintaining efficient workflow on fast-paced, short-duration assignments.

Travel is required; assignments typically last 4–8 weeks with company-supported trips home between rotations.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background with experience in power systems, renewable energy, or related industries.
• Working knowledge of NEC and its practical field application.
• Experience leading self-perform crews, craft labor, or subcontractors in field environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage self-perform field crews in repair, restoration, and maintenance of utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Develop and improve processes to drive consistency, productivity, and profitability.
• Ensure all work is safe, efficient, and in line with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Foster knowledge sharing and clear ownership of responsibilities and decision rights.
• Drive project execution on schedule, within budget, and to quality expectations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and maintain proactive communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain a rolling three-week lookahead schedule and forward-looking execution planning.
• Provide accurate daily reporting and support customer interactions as needed.
• Mentor field personnel to promote technical growth and continuous improvement.
