Job summary

IES is seeking a Crew Lead - Structured Cabling to act as on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects. You will ensure job completion according to company and customer quality and safety requirements while maintaining the efficiency of the staff assigned to the project.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to read blueprints, terminate fiber, travel within the branch or regional territory, and coordinate with the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 2–4 yrs telecom/tech exp preferred.
• Ability to terminate fiber and interpret project documents.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory/managerial experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project paperwork.
• Willingness to travel within branch/region.

Responsibilities

• Lead major project crews; ensure safety, quality, and timely performance.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Complete all project paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform quality checks and prepare red-lined as-built drawings.
• Serve as on-site customer contact; attend meetings as needed.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
