Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Crew Lead - Structured Cabling to guide on-site voice and data installation teams. You will coordinate daily activities, ensure safety, and meet quality standards for customer projects.

You will monitor performance, provide training, manage documentation, and serve as the primary on-site contact for customers, addressing issues and keeping schedules on track.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in telecommunications or structured cabling.
• 6+ months supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience with fiber termination and color codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate structured cabling crews on voice and data installation projects.
• Monitor crew performance, provide training and direction, and elevate performance concerns as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements, including safety meetings.
• Partner with Project Manager to maintain productivity, schedules and budgets.
• Complete project documentation on time (timesheets, work orders, transfers).
• Serve as on-site contact for customer questions and resolve issues.
