Job summary

IES is seeking a Project Lead - Structured Cabling to act as on-site coordinator and supervisor for voice/data installation projects. You will ensure completion per safety and quality standards while maintaining staff efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Role requires supervising crews, coordinating with the Project Manager, and handling project documentation. Must have fiber termination skills and at least 3 years in telecom, plus 6 months supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in telecommunications or related technical field.
• Must be able to terminate fiber.
• Minimum of six (6) months of supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Proficient with the listed tools and blueprints/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead major project crews and provide necessary training.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity and budget compliance.
• Complete project paperwork on time (timesheets, work orders, etc.).
• Perform quality checks and prepare red-lined as-built drawings.
• Serve as main on-site customer contact for questions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
