Job summary

IES is seeking a Project Lead - Structured Cabling to act as on-site coordinator for voice and data installation projects. You will supervise Crew Leads, ensure quality and safety standards, and maintain staff efficiency on the jobsite.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager to meet productivity targets, manage budgets, and complete all required paperwork. This role requires strong technical knowledge, blueprints interpretation, and effective communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in telecommunications or related technical field.
• Must be able to terminate fiber.
• Must possess a minimum of six (6) months of supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Must know how to interpret blueprints and project documents.
• Must be proficient with the listed tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead major project crews and provide training and safety adherence.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity and budget compliance.
• Complete project paperwork on time (timesheets, work orders, change orders, etc.).
• Perform quality checks and coordinate moves and drawings for cross-connects.
• Serve as main on-site customer contact and attend meetings as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on site.
• Complete additional assigned responsibilities.
