Job summary

IES is seeking a Crew Lead - Structured Cabling to act as on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects. You will ensure work meets safety and quality requirements while keeping staff productive and aligned with project goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications or related technical field.
• Must be able to terminate fiber.
• Must possess and be able to effectively use the listed tools.
• Must have proven ability to interpret blueprints and project documents.

Responsibilities

• The Crew Lead - Structured Cabling will consistently run major project crews and provide necessary training; enforce safety and quality guidelines.
• Coordinate with Project Manager/Project Lead to ensure productivity, job completion and budget compliance.
• Complete all project paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, work orders, change orders, etc.).
• Perform quality checks; coordinate moves and cross connects; prepare red-lined as-built drawings.
• Serve as main on-site customer contact for questions/concerns; attend facility and constructions meetings when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; demonstrate detailed knowledge.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
