Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in California. The ideal candidate holds a CA RN license with ACLS, BLS, and MAB, and has at least 1 year of telemetry experience and prior travel RN exposure.

Responsibilities include working in the Telemetry unit, managing cardiac dysrhythmias, and providing emergency response. Day shifts are 7:00am–7:30pm (3x12 hours).

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license is required.
• Current ACLS, BLS and MAB certifications.
• Minimum 1 year telemetry nursing experience.
• Prior travel RN experience is required.
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response.
• Proficient in interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting.
• Care for cardiac dysrhythmia, trauma, and GI patients.
• Day shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 7:00am-7:30pm.
• Provide cardiac monitoring and emergency response for telemetry patients.
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias as part of daily responsibilities.
• Maintain prescribed dress code and vaccination status as required.

• Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Proficient in interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias

• Strict dress code enforced: no facial hair, acrylic nails, unnatural hair colors, visible body piercings other than earrings, facial or nose rings, or hoop/extended earrings; all tattoos must be covered
• All tattoos must be covered while on duty
• COVID vaccination status required for consideration
• Local candidates are accepted at the standard bill rate
• Previous staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
