Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry unit in California. CA RN license and Epic EMR experience are required to apply. The role is a travel/contract position with 13 weeks in a Telemetry unit, day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), and a local candidate policy aligned with travel rates.

Applicants should have at least one year of acute care experience, two supervisor references, and a CPI Blue Card in-hand for ER/Float Pool assignments. Prior travel experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted).
• Minimum one year of acute care experience required.
• Specialty unit experience requires at least one year full-time equivalent in past two years.
• Epic EMR experience required and must be documented in work history.
• Two supervisor references required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• CPI Blue Card required in-hand for ER and Float Pool RNs (online or MAB certification not accepted).

Responsibilities

• Works in the Telemetry unit.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates.
• Previous permanent staff must be gone a minimum of one year to return as a traveler.
• Manager may choose not to conduct an interview prior to placement.
• Candidates on a temporary license must note this in bold print on their application.
