Qualifications

> Active RN license (GA or Compact)
> Neuro nursing experience required; strong med/surg candidates with some step-down experience may also be considered
> NIHSS and ACLS certifications required
> Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty nursing required
> Experience in a high-acuity, high-volume trauma hospital required
> Proven success managing critical, fast-paced, large-scale trauma cases
> Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered

12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
Weekend work required (4 weekend shifts per month)
No block scheduling available
Epic EMR experience required
No on-call responsibilities
Work in a high-acidity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases
Manager will conduct interview and extend offer
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel rate
