Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for the Neuro Unit on a night shift in Georgia. Active GA or compact RN license required; BLS required; ACLS preferred. Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro Med/Surg experience and willingness to work 12-hour night shifts in a 7P-7A schedule.

You will staff the unit, handle holidays, and may receive a housing allowance, travel reimbursements, and per diem. Travel-friendly role for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the specialty required

Responsibilities

• Staff the Acute Neuro Med/Surg unit staffing 7 additional overflow beds
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week on a 7P-7A varying schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays and 1 minor holiday
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Returning staff who previously worked permanently at this facility must complete a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
