American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for LDRP in Indiana. Active IN/Compact license and labor and delivery experience are required, with LDRP and nursery experience preferred. The role features 3x12 shifts, night schedule, and 100% floating within hospital or affiliates.

Candidates must have BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications, plus Cerner charting experience. First-time travelers are welcome; housing and travel reimbursements are provided as part of the assignment.

Formación

• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (advanced acceptable) certifications.
• Minimum 18 months RN experience.
• Labor and delivery experience required; LDRP experience preferred.
• Nursery experience preferred.
• Cerner charting experience required.
• ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program graduate.
• Two supervisor references required.
• SSN and DOB required for consideration.

Responsabilidades

• LDRP unit with Level 1 nursery and Level 1 OB/delivery services.
• Performs circumcision, external version, and C-section procedures.
• Staffing ratio of 1:2 couplets.
• Uses Panda warmers with built-in Neo-puff and Philips fetal monitoring with wireless capability.
• Utilizes an OB Hemorrhage Cart.
• Night shift 3x12-hour schedule, 4:00 PM–4:30 AM.
• 100% floating within hospital or nearby affiliates.
• Provides comprehensive antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum care including vaginal deliveries.
• Supports cardiac monitoring and emergency obstetrical care.
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• RTO of 5 days or less auto-approved; more time requires facility approval.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• IN residents are local candidates; local candidates not accepted for this unit.
• Any IU Health perm/PRN employee must be separated for 12 months before traveler status.

• Graduate of a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
• 2 supervisor references required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• IN residents are considered local candidates
• Local candidates are not accepted for this unit type per facility policy
• Any current or former IU Health perm/PRN employee must be separated for 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health must take a designated break to reset eligibility (90 days for out-of-state residents, 180 days for in-state residents)
