Job summary
iT1, a leading national technology solution provider, seeks an IT Field Technician I to join our Tempe team. This role travels up to 75% to client sites, delivering hands-on IT support and field deployment of equipment and images.
You will collaborate with project managers and engineers while ensuring tasks meet iT1 standards. The ideal candidate has 2+ years IT experience, familiarity with workstations, networking devices, and wireless access points, and thrives in a fast-paced, travel-heavy
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years IT experience in a relevant position.
- Experience deploying workstations and PC applications.
- Experience with high travel volume to client sites.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting wireless access points.
Responsibilities
- Travel 75%+ to client sites to fulfill project requests.
- Provide excellent customer service and IT support during field visits.
- Install equipment and manage cabling onsite per best practices.
- Diagnose errors, determine solutions, and produce timely reports.
- Validate equipment functionality before handoffs.
- Collaborate with Project Manager and senior engineers on projects.
- Notify management of issues affecting end users.
- Create documentation as needed.
