Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a motivated Herbicide Applicator Technician to spray right of ways, roadsides, and managed vegetation. You will operate spray trucks, ATVs, and backpack sprayers, and receive training in calibrating equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 21+ years old, a valid driver's license with a clean MVR, and willingness to travel up to 4–6 weeks. Compensation ranges from $21–$25 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• A valid driver’s license required with 5 years clean MVR.
• Willingness to travel away from home for up to 4–6 weeks at a time (hotel paid).
• Herbicide application experience preferred; certification (Category C6) may be required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Complete DOT truck inspections and troubleshoot spray system issues.
• Keep truck and equipment clean and organized.
• Calibrate spray equipment as trained.
• Understand weed, grass, and brush types and appropriate chemicals.
• Meet safety requirements to satisfy customer expectations.
