Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) seeks motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians to spray right of ways, roadsides, and remove weeds using a spray truck, ATV, backpack sprayer or hose. Travel up to 4–6 weeks may be required, with hotel provided and per diem.

You will perform DOT inspections, keep equipment clean, and receive training in calibration and safety. A high school diploma, 21+ years of age, and a valid driver’s license are required; additional licensing can be obtained within 90

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 21+ years old or older.
• Valid driver’s license with 5 years clean MVR.
• Pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Must travel 4–6 weeks at a time (hotel provided, per-diem).
• Herbicide application experience preferred but not required.
• Commercial Pesticide Applicator license (Category C6) preferred; to be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Spray right of ways and roadsides; remove weeds; trim and cut grass and brush.
• Operate spray truck, ATV, backpack sprayer or drag hose.
• Train to calibrate spray equipment and understand weed/grass/brush control and safety requirements.

Skills
