Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a Herbicide Applicator Technician to spray right of ways, roadsides, and brush areas using spray trucks, ATVs, backpacks, or hoses. Responsibilities include inspections, equipment maintenance, and safe operation in various settings.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, and the ability to travel 4–6 weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Willing to travel away from home for up to 4-6 weeks at a time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR for at least 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete all DOT required truck inspections and troubleshoot issues.
• Keep truck and equipment clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
• Calibrate and operate spray equipment as trained.
• Understand weed, grass, and brush control methods and safety requirements.
