Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking Herbicide Applicator Technicians to spray rights of way, roadsides, remove weeds, and trim grass and brush using a spray truck, ATV, backpack sprayer, or hose. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license with 5 years clean MVR, ability to travel 4–6 weeks away from home (hotel paid, per diem), pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.

Licenses/licensing within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with 5 years clean MVR.
• Pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Must be able to travel away from home for 4–6 weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Spray right of ways and roadsides to remove weeds and trim grass and brush.
• Operate spray truck, ATV, backpack sprayer or hose as needed.
• Maintain truck and equipment and calibrate spray systems as trained.
