Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) seeks highly motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians to spray right of ways, roadsides, weeds and brush using trucks, ATVs or hoses. Training covers calibration, weed types, chemicals and safety to meet customer expectations.

Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent; 21+ years old; valid driver's license with 5 years clean MVR; pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check; travel up to 4–6 weeks; pesticide applicator license within

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with 5 years clean MVR.
• Pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Must be able to travel away from home for up to 4-6 weeks at a time with hotel paid and per-diem.
• Herbicide application experience preferred but not required.
• Commercial Pesticide Applicators license preferred; must be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Spray right of ways, roadsides, weeds, and brush using a spray truck, ATV, backpack sprayer, or hoses.
• Complete DOT required truck inspections and troubleshoot spray system issues.
• Keep truck and equipment clean and organized and calibrate spray equipment.
• Understand weed, grass, and brush types and safety requirements.
