Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Field Service Technician to be the primary technical contact across North America. You will travel 80%+ to install, calibrate, train customers, and perform critical repairs on 3D printing systems.

You will lead on-site demonstrations, provide structured customer training, and manage complex travel schedules. A STEM degree and hands-on repair experience are required, along with a valid passport for frequent international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field is required.
• Hands-on repair experience is required.
• Valid passport is required for travel.
• Ability to travel 80%+ of the time and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Installation & Training on-site at customer sites.
• Equipment installation, commissioning and calibration.
• Provide structured on-site user training and demonstrations.
• Perform break-fix and preventative maintenance on Needing equipment.
• Rapid response to downtime and urgent repairs.
• Maintain detailed installation, training and repair logs in Salesforce.
