Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Field Service Technician to be the primary technical contact across Italy, traveling 80%+ and handling full on-site lifecycle from installation to repairs and training. You’ll diagnose electromechanical issues, demonstrate equipment, and empower customers to use our 3D printing systems.

You must base in Milan or nearby, be fluent in English and Italian, hold a valid B license, and enjoy dynamic travel. Bonus skills in German/French are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on electromechanical/hardware experience.
• Strong ability to teach customers how to use equipment and software.
• Fluency in English and Italian (C1-C2) is required.
• Valid driver’s license (B) is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment at customer sites and provide training.
• Conduct on-site user training and product demonstrations.
• Perform break-fix and maintenance on-site and respond rapidly to downtime.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical issues and achieve single-visit resolutions.
• Maintain logistics, schedules and submit travel expenses.
• Document installations, trainings and repairs in Salesforce.
