Job summary

Formlabs in the United States (Orlando area) is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site installations, training, and repairs across North America. The role requires extensive travel (80%+), independent work, and strong problem-solving in real-world environments.

You will install, calibrate, and demonstrate 3D printing systems, train customer teams, and document all activities. A STEM degree and passport are required to enable global field support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEM-related field.
• Hands-on repair experience.
• Valid passport.
• Able to travel 80%+ of the time.
• Located near Newark Airport.

Responsibilities

• Installation & Training (On-Site) at customer sites.
• Equipment installation, commissioning, and calibration.
• Conduct structured on-site user training sessions.
• Perform live product demos to showcase technology.
• Break-Fix & maintenance on-site and rapid response for downtime.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance within 90-day windows.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical issues to achieve single-visit resolutions.
• Maintain installation, training, and repair records in Salesforce.
