Job summary

Formlabs in Boston, MA seeks a Field Service Engineer to own on-site installations, calibrations, and customer training for our 3D printing systems. You will travel 80%+ across North America, run live demos, and ensure customers can operate the machines confidently.

Diagnose electromechanical issues, perform break-fix and preventative maintenance, and document work in Salesforce. A STEM degree and hands-on repair experience are required, along with a valid passport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEM field.
• Hands-on repair experience.
• Ability to travel 80%+ and work independently.
• Located near Newark Airport or capable of travel.
• Passport is required.

Responsibilities

• Install & train customers on-site for 3D printing systems.
• Perform break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose electromechanical issues and aim for single-visit resolutions.
• Document installations, training, and repairs in Salesforce and manage travel logistics.
