Job summary

Theo is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to support customers through on-site service, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, plus RMA repairs at our facility. You will travel extensively, work independently, and communicate professionally with customers to ensure high satisfaction.

Qualifications include Mandarin Chinese fluency, 2+ years of field service experience, an electronics/engineering degree, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required to communicate with the China-based team.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication, especially with customers.
• Experience with RMA processes and service operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, calibration, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair at customer sites.
• Conduct RMA evaluations and repairs in-house as required.
• Provide clear communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete service reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with internal teams to feedback from the field and drive improvement.
• Maintain inventory and care of tools, parts, and equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards during field and in-house activities.
