Job summary

TOPTICA Photonics Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and install laser systems at customer sites in the United States, with regular travel required. The role includes remote support and on-site troubleshooting, collaborating with internal teams and external customers.

Travel to TOPTICA's Munich headquarters for periodic training is expected, with a focus on hands-on problem solving and customer satisfaction in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with cw and/or ultrafast lasers and optical systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction.
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds and travel as required.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Field service of existing TOPTICA laser systems at customer sites.
• Installation of new laser systems at customer locations with regular travel.
• Service and repair of laser systems in-house when needed.
• Technical support and troubleshooting with both internal and external customers.
• Periodic travel to TOPTICA's headquarters in Munich for training and product orientation.
