Job summary

Special Order Systems, Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician I to travel to CA Health Care Facility locations, including Stockton, to maintain, repair, and resolve issues on company products and equipment.

You will service tablets, phones, kiosks, and related devices, both on-site and roving, with administrative support to customers. The role requires hands-on repair skills, tablet setup, and strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in difficult environments such as corrections is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary representative between on-site facility personnel and company personnel.
• Set up and maintain individual tablets for users.
• Repair phones, kiosks, video terminals, WAPs, tablets and other equipment within correctional facilities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tablets.
• Ensure security measures to prevent misuse of tablets.
• Assist with software updates and installations on tablets.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions on tablets.
