Job summary

Aventiv is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel to various facilities to maintain, repair and resolve issues on company products including tablets, kiosks and video terminals. The role may be onsite, hybrid or roving, providing both technical and administrative support to customers.

You will set up tablets, troubleshoot, manage user accounts and assist with software updates while living within or traveling to assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Aventiv products such as Offender Calling System, Video Visitation and Tablets.
• Ability to complete tasks to a high standard with urgency and quality.
• Ability to learn Aventiv products quickly and apply fixes or improvements.

Responsibilities

• Travel to facilities to maintain, repair and resolve issues on Aventiv equipment.
• Set up and maintain tablets for users and manage user accounts.
• Troubleshoot tablets, update software and installations as needed.
• Coordinate with dispatchers for assignments and provide ETA.
• Provide customer and technical support to on-site staff and incarcerated users.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and tools and manage asset records.
• Educate customers on proper tablet usage and security measures.
