Job summary

Special Order Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel to customer sites, set up and maintain tablets, repair devices, and provide on-site technical support.

You will support tablet programs, manage user accounts, schedule tasks with dispatch, and train end-users in a correctional environment. This role requires strong communication and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform field visits.

Responsibilities

• Travel to facilities to set up and maintain tablets and other equipment.
• Repair tablets, phones, kiosks, video terminals, WAPs as needed.
• Provide technical support and training to users in a correctional environment.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and account managers to schedule tasks.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment and complete reporting.
