Job summary

Airwallex is hiring a Travel Account Executive to lead the full sales cycle for travel businesses, solving cross-border payment challenges and FX exposure with our platform. You will build pipelines, close deals, and expand Airwallex adoption across travel sub-verticals.

The role is remote in the United States, with collaboration across Legal, Finance, and Strategy to structure partnerships and maximize customer value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inside and/or field sales closing net-new business in a high-growth company.
• Customer-focused, consultative approach to sales.
• Experience leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Proven track record building and maintaining a robust pipeline.
• Strong pitching, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience collaborating with Legal, Finance, and Strategy teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for travel businesses, from prospecting through close, in complex buying environments.
• Build a robust pipeline through targeted outreach, industry events, strategic networking, and relationships across the travel vertical.
• Develop trusted relationships with travel businesses and expand opportunities across new travel sub-verticals.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Strategy, and other internal teams to structure successful partnerships.
• Improve customer outcomes by helping travel businesses use Airwallex's platform for cross-border payments, currency exposure, reconciliation, and fragmented payment flows.
