Job summary

Community Medical Services (CMS) is seeking a Client Services Coordinator to greet clients and visitors with professionalism and compassion. Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, you will coordinate client care, schedule appointments, assist with walk-in intakes, and address client concerns in an outpatient setting similar to a physician’s office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service experience required.
• 1+ years of front desk experience, preferably at hospital front desk or multi-physician practice.
• Hospital front desk experience preferred.
• For states TX/OH/MN/IN/WI, valid driver’s license and MVR clearance required; 39-month MVR check at interview.

Responsibilities

• Greets and attends to clients in person and over the phone.
• Manages high-volume patient flow in a fast-paced environment.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate walk-ins with providers and counselors.
• Enter demographics in electronic health records and maintain accurate client records.
• Verify insurance eligibility and set up billing in the EHR.
• Establish payment plans and collect payments.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in de-escalation and trauma-informed client support.
• Support inventory and basic clinic supply ordering.
• Perform general office duties (scanning, faxing).
