Job summary

Community Medical Services (CMS) is seeking a Client Services Coordinator to greet clients and manage patient flow in a busy outpatient clinic.

Under Clinic Manager supervision, you will coordinate appointments, assist with walk-intakes, and address client concerns, using a trauma-informed communication style. The role emphasizes compassionate service and accurate documentation in the EHR to support addiction treatment services.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service is required.
• Basic computer knowledge with ability to navigate electronic health records.
• Problem solving, conflict resolution, time management, and strong customer service skills.
• Flexible with the ability to work in a changing environment and hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients in person and over the phone.
• Manage high-volume client flow in a fast-paced clinic.
• Create and update client profiles in the electronic health record.
• Document client visits accurately in the EHR.
• Coordinate walk-in intakes and schedule providers/counselors.
• Establish client payment plans and process payments.
• Assist with maintenance of clinic supplies and general office duties.
