Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services in the United States is seeking an Advocate to provide trauma-informed, relational advocacy and case management to survivors of trafficking, child abuse, and youth homelessness. Responsibilities include crisis response, safety planning, and coordination of ongoing services in alignment with program, state, and federal standards.

The role requires after-hours coverage, a reliable vehicle, and regional travel with potential overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or closely related field.
• 2-3 years case management or crisis intervention experience with victims of human trafficking, child abuse, or youth homelessness/addiction.
• Must be able to travel regionally and respond to crises within 90 minutes; after-hours and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed advocacy and case management to survivors.
• Respond to crises immediately and develop safety plans.
• Document cases and coordinate ongoing services per program/state/federal standards.
• Travel regionally up to 75% with overnight stays as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with agency policies and dress code.
