Job summary

Unbound Now seeks an Advocate to provide crisis response and ongoing case management for survivors of human trafficking. The role requires on-site work with frequent travel within the local area, strong trauma-informed approach, and collaboration with CST care coordinators and law enforcement.

Responsibilities include meeting immediate needs, coordinating services, documenting interactions, and maintaining survivor-centered support under grant funding. A mature faith-based workplace is noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is required.
• Experience with victims of human trafficking or related services is preferred.
• Trained in trauma-informed care and able to apply it in practice.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-call referrals from law enforcement and CST care coordinators within required timeframes.
• Meet immediate survivor needs with transportation, clothing, and essentials when needed.
• Provide ongoing field-based advocacy, case management, and emotional support.
• Coordinate referrals, service planning, and documentation for caseloads.
• Conduct assessments, create service plans, and make field-based decisions for safety.
• Escort to appointments and coordinate transportation with guardian consent when applicable.
• Maintain regular meetings with survivors and communicate via multiple channels between visits.
