Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services seeks an Advocate to provide trauma-informed, relational advocacy and case management to survivors, ensuring high-quality support in both crisis and long-term situations.

Responsibilities include immediate crisis response, safety planning, case documentation, and coordination of ongoing services in alignment with program, state, and federal standards. Travel and after-hours coverage are required; mileage is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or related field.
• Experience with victims of human trafficking, child abuse, or youth homelessness/addiction.
• 2–3 years in case management or crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, relational advocacy and case management to survivors.
• Respond to crises, safety planning, and ongoing service coordination.
• Document cases and meet program, state, and federal standards.
• Be available for after-hours and weekend crisis coverage; travel as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality, use independent judgment, and travel with a personal vehicle.
