Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services seeks an Advocate to provide trauma-informed, relational advocacy and case management for survivors, including immediate crisis response and safety planning. The role involves documentation and coordination of services to meet program, state, and federal standards.

Travel regionally with a personal vehicle is required, with after-hours and weekend crisis coverage. Mileage is reimbursed; confidentiality and ethical standards must be upheld.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or closely related field of study.
• 2–3 years case management and/or crisis intervention experience.
• Personal or professional experience with trafficking survivors, child abuse/neglect, or youth homelessness/addiction.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, relational advocacy and case management to survivors.
• Immediate crisis response and safety planning.
• Documentation and coordination of ongoing services per standards.
• After-hours and weekend crisis coverage.
• Travel regionally with a personal vehicle and up to 75% travel.
• Maintain confidentiality and documentation within required timelines.
• Engage families and communities, including stakeholders and partners.
