Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services seeks an Advocate to provide trauma-informed, relational advocacy and case management for survivors, ensuring high-quality support in crisis and ongoing contexts.

The role requires immediate crisis response, safety planning, documentation, and coordination with partners, with after-hours and weekend coverage. A reliable vehicle is needed and travel is ~75% regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or closely related field.
• 2–3 years case management and/or crisis intervention experience.
• Trauma-informed, relational advocacy and evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed advocacy and case management for survivors.
• Coordinate crisis response, safety planning, and service referrals.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with program standards.
• Travel regionally, with occasional overnight travel; participate in on-call rotations.
