Job summary

The Advocate at BCFS Health and Human Services in the United States delivers trauma-informed, relational advocacy and case management to survivors, ensuring quality support in crisis and long-term situations. This role requires travel within the region and after-hours coverage.

Responsibilities include immediate crisis response, safety planning, thorough documentation, and coordination of ongoing services in line with program standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or closely related field.
• 2–3 years of case management and/or crisis intervention experience.
• Experience with victims of human trafficking, child abuse, or youth homelessness/addiction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed advocacy and case management to survivors.
• Respond to immediate crises and coordinate safety planning.
• Document progress and coordinate ongoing services with program and state guidelines.
• Travel regionally and participate in on-call rotations and after-hours coverage.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency policies.
