Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to support data analysis, planning, optimization, and execution of transportation operations across the supply chain. You will drive cost reductions, service improvements, and operational efficiency by leveraging TMS and BI tools.

The role collaborates with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and 3PL providers, and requires strong analytical and project management skills to influence stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in transportation, logistics or supply chain management, with fleet or carrier focus.
• Certifications PMP or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis of the transportation network to identify cost reductions and service improvements.
• Lead transportation projects from conception to completion within scope, time, and budget.
• Serve as liaison between internal teams and external 3PL carriers.
• Develop KPIs to assess fleet performance and translate data into actionable insights.
• Manage budgets and timelines for transportation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization across transportation operations.
