Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to support data analysis, planning, and execution of transportation operations across the supply chain. You will optimize movement between distribution centers, warehouses, and customers, driving cost reductions and service improvements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with TMS and BI tools, and the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations. Travel 10-15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration preferred
• Preferred Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
• 4+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
• Proven experience in project management with timelines and budgets
• Exceptional analytical skills with large datasets and trends
• Proficiency with data visualization and BI tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Travel 10-15%

Responsibilities

• Transportation network data analytics and reporting to identify cost reductions and service improvements
• Lead and manage transportation-related projects from conception to completion
• Stakeholder management between internal teams and external 3PL carriers
• Develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs to assess fleet performance
• Budget and timeline management for projects
• Process optimization in transportation operations
• Proactive problem solving of transportation challenges
